The penultimate record in the ‘Cry Tuff Encounter‘ series, Cry Tuff III was recorded with The Arabs, who played backing on all four records, as well as a host of freely improvisational musicians from Jamaica and Britain, including Dennis Bovell and Adrian Sherwood at the controls, as well as guest vocal performances from Ari Up and Viv of The Slits.
