The resultant double-LP collection, his first album in over three years, is a refreshing blend of house goodness with worldly vocal contributions from an army of luscious divas led by longtime Galliano contributor Nahawa Doumbia. Throw a barrow-load of exotic-sounding traditional instrumentation into the nu jazz cauldron and the resultant blend becomes all things to all listeners. Ambitious and enjoyable.
